Are you ready?!

Hey guys! So last year we had some pretty sick shows like Lollapalooza with Eminem and Outkast headlining along with other great musicians and bands. Or what about Riot fest that had Wu Tang Clan, Rise Against, Weezer, and Jane’s Addiction! Then you had Panic! At the Disco, Lana Del Rey, Justin Timberlake, Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan, and the list can go on and on about all the shows that happened within our great city last week. So that leaves us this important question, what does 2015 have in store for us?

For starters we have Fall Out Boy performing a sold out show in Lincoln Hall for the Release of their new album American Beauty/American Psycho, which is set to release on Tuesday January 20th, on Saturday January 24th.Then they are going to come back again to Tinley Park at the First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre along with Wiz Khalifa and Hoodie Allen in the Boys of Zummer tour on July 11th. Tickets for that show will go on sale on January 23rd and I cannot wait to see them! All three of these artists are headliners on their own but the Boys of Zummer are a force to reckon with. I mean just check out their announcement video!

Then Lana Del Rey also comes back to town on May 30th at the First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre. If you haven’t gone to one of her shows then I highly recommend that you should! Lana’s unqiue vocal style and vintage feel give her music a 60’s/70’s feel with a modern setting of her lyrics and messages. But if you can make it to her show then may I suggest perhaps attending the Pitchfork Music Fest on July 17th to the 19th. With the mixture of genres at this music festival you are sure to find something that will give you a good vibe.
