How To Get Up Early and Stay Energized!

Hello again everybody! I hope everyone had a wonderful start to the new semester and is excited to kick butt in all their classes! But for that, I know everyone (or maybe just me ;)) can use a quick lesson in how to wake up early and stay energized throughout the day. With my long days full of classes and studying, it’s hard to stay on top of it all so the best idea is to be up early, eating and moving! My inspiration for this article came from Business Insider and Entrepreneur.com.

So here we go!

Now onto staying energized for the day! The trick to stay energized all day is in your shower. It’s called Hot and Cold Hyrdrotherapy and it is supposedly (through scientific research) really good for your overall health. It is known to reduce stress, help build a stronger immune system, increase your ability to burn fat, improve blood circulation and help in battling depression. That sounds like a good deal to me!

So here’s what you do: after finishing up your normal shower routine, turn the nozzle all the way to the cold side and stand under the water for 30 seconds. After that, crank that nozzle to as hot as you can handle and stand under the water for 30 seconds. Finally, do the cold cycle one more time. I know, I know it sounds like a “NOPE” shower because it seems super torturous but if it helps you to stay energized all day long, then the least you can do is give it a try. After all, who wouldn’t wanna feel like a pocket full of sunshine all day!?!
