What does Chicago have in common with Disney’s latest hit movie Frozen? Well, both are freezing and covered in snow, for one thing. Chicago seems like it could be just as cold as the kingdom of Arendelle after Queen Elsa accidentally froze it.
I saw Frozen over winter break, and loved every second of it – especially Elsa’s song “Let It Go,” sung by Broadway star Idina Menzel. (Okay who am I kidding, that song has been stuck in my head pretty much 24/7 since I saw the movie.) But can you blame me? It’s a great song, and has been nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Song.
But earlier today I discovered something even cooler (ha ha, get it?). Buzzfeed recently released a compilation video of the hit song “Let It Go” in 25 different languages! It amazes me that the power of music can travel to so many different countries and be translated into so many different languages.
So, here’s the awesome video I share with you in the hopes you’ll get just as addicted to it as I am:
Enjoy!
Also – if you haven’t seen Frozen yet, the DVD comes out March 18th, 2014!
