Welcoming Color Of Rain
Are you into chill music you can vibe to? Are you open to lyrics in languages other than your native language? Well UIC Radio would like to introduce a brand new show called Color Of Rain! Primarily a K-music (Korean music) show, Color Of Rain will explore a wide range of genres and artists, such as BTS, Prince, Jonghyun, Zapp, The 1975, Beyoncé, The Rose, and many more.

On Radio FX, this show will be aired Fridays, from 3pm-4pm. Whether you’ll be just leaving class, at home relaxing, or cruising, let the music fill you with ease, and occasionally hype you up. As a show open to play music of multiple genres and languages, song suggestions will be accepted.
Also, if you are an aspiring musical artist, the opportunity to have your music heard live on the radio has arrived! If you have any songs on Soundcloud, Youtube, or another outlet, that you want to be heard by others, you can send in your music to show host, Brittany Kinlow, via social media (Instagram: @Color.Of_Rain ; Twitter: @ColorOfRain_). Just make sure the music sent in is clean.
In past weeks, Color Of Rain has discussed new album releases (such as Mono by RM and Regular-Irregular by NCT 127), the recent collaboration of Steve Aoki and BTS, and upcoming albums by The 1975, Key, and Taemin. Shade was thrown at Cube Entertainment for relieving group, Triple H, and last weeks show was “Flashback Friday,” where old school and retro music was themed.
With a lot to offer and a lot of promise, Color Of Rain will never disappoint, may you be a Kpop lover or not. Tune in this Friday from 3pm-4pm on Radio FX with UIC Radio, where music and culture ignite.
