Since February 11th, 2000, UIC Radio has been the official college radio station of the University of Illinois Chicago. The mission of UIC Radio is to provide entertainment, information, and education for UIC and Chicago-land communities through diverse programming that reflects and respects the interest of UIC students as well as the rich diversity and multicultural backgrounds of the students, faculty, and staff of UIC. Our radio programming features an eclectic range of music genres, talk radio, news, and public affairs programming. UIC Radio, where music and culture ignite.

UIC Radio is a non-profit student organization. We make no money off of advertisements, content produced, or anything that is published on this website. For students, by students, completely free.

We are a division of the Center for Student Involvement (CSI) and the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs.

             

CSI strives to build a foundation for holistic development through educational, social, leadership, and cultural programming for UIC students.
