An amazing thing happened today! The Finding Dory trailer was released, and I was so happy about it. Its been 12 years in the making, but Disney has finally given me some substance for their sequel to Finding Nemo.
I still remember being a kid, and watching Finding Nemo for the first time. I loved it. It was an amazing movie, and a beautiful story. It’s one of those movies that remind me of my childhood, so you can guess my enthusiasm when I found out about Finding Dory. It was amazing to think that I could watch a movie that follows up on beloved characters that I loved as a child.
Which brings us to when I finally saw the trailer for this movie. I woke up today, and did what everyone does. I looked through my phone, and it didn’t take long for me to see news of the trailer. Of course I instantly watched the trailer, and I was not let down.
The trailer starts off perfectly with Nemo, Marlin, and Dory sleeping, but with sounds of Dory snoring and talking in her sleep. She starts sleep swimming off, but Nemo and Marlin catch her before she gets too far. The trailer does a great job of showing hints on what the plot of the film will be about, and also does makes me want to go watch the movie when it finally comes out. What the thing its best at, is giving me a sense of nostalgia about the first time I watched Finding Nemo.
