After not announcing an album in 2 years, Gorillaz is back, with a new album titled "The Mountain", which will be out on March 20th. This album will be put out through the band's own label, Kong. It'll feature 15 tracks, and they've already released a single off the album. The new single is titled "Happy Dictator" and features Sparks, a pop-rock duo from the '60s based in California.
Some other features include Bizarrap, Idles, and Johnny Marr from The Smiths. They will also tour the UK and Ireland after the album debuts! Hopefully, they make a stop in the U.S
Who is Gorillaz?
Formed in 1998 by musician Damon Albarn and artist Jamie Hewlett, Gorillaz have long stood out as a virtual band that bridges music, art, and storytelling.

Known for their animated members and genre-blending sound, the project has brought together a wide range of collaborators over the years, from hip-hop icons to indie legends. Some of their most iconic songs include "Feel Good Inc." , "Clint Eastwood" and one of my favorites is "Andromeda".
