HARRY STYLES, WHAT HAPPENED TO LEAVE AMERICA?!!

After four long years, Harry Styles is finally back, and he’s bringing the sparkle. His new album, Kiss All the Time. Disco, occasionally, is dropping with 12 tracks, which is basically a full-course meal for anyone who’s been starving for a fresh Harry era. The new single “Aperture” just came out last week, and wow. It’s super pop with a little techno-coded, like it was made for flashing lights and a dance floor. The second I heard it, my brain immediately time-traveled to a concert scene, like, I can already see it, Madison Square Garden absolutely losing its mind, everyone screaming “WE BELONG TOGETHER!” at the top of their lungs like it’s a spiritual experience.

but....

WHY ARE THE TICKETS 1000?! Yep. One thousand. 1-0-0-0. Actual U.S. dollars.

Yeah… I’m not okay.

I’ve loved Harry ever since “If I Could Fly”, emotionally invested since One Direction had us all in a chokehold, and sure, he’s a massive artist. But a thousand dollars, massive? In this economy?? Especially when he’s talked about hating capitalism?? So.. which is it?

I’m honestly just confused and kind of sad. Lower bowl tickets are floating around $700–$1000, and my friend and I genuinely thought we’d be paying like $400 each. She’s been to every one of his concerts, so we weren’t exactly being delusional, we just didn’t expect the prices to go to a 1000.

For those prices, I’m expecting Harry Styles to give us a three-hour concert and casually bring out Louis, Zayn, and Niall like it’s no big deal. A full One Direction reunion. Because… WHAT?? We already hate the whole Ticketmaster war but now imagine fighting for your life in that queue, praying for the “cheaper” seats… only to finally get through and realize only wildly expensive tickets are left.

Honestly, from what I’ve been seeing on TikTok, it’s not even like people are happily snatching up the $1000 seats. A lot of folks are saying no one’s buying those, and the real problem is that by the time you escape the queue, the affordable options are gone, and you’re stuck choosing between “pay rent” or “see Harry.”

He’s doing 30 shows… and why? Because he knows people from literally all over America are going to war in New York just to see him, and he’s going to sell out anyway. Like the certainty! The main character's energy! I need that level of confidence immediately.

Anyway, to all my Harry Styles fans, true, genuine fans. I really hope you see him at MSG this year :)
