How many Fish could I beat up Land and Sea?

In the hypothetical situation where I was in a fight initiated by some fish, and I had to beat them up until there were too many, how many fish could I take down?

In the scenario where this takes place in the sea—I'm in their natural environment—I have an oxygen tank with hypothetically unlimited oxygen and only my bare fists. My strategy is to grab them and bend them the wrong way for the easiest method of immobilization. If the fish are coming at me in waves of 3 per cycle, and I have to deal with each wave before the next arrives, I think I’d last around 3–4 rounds before I go under. Fish, being in water, have amazing mobility and an infinite oxygen supply. That would lead to a lot of struggle on my end, since punches and forceful attacks are dulled by water resistance. Plus, with how exhausting swimming is, I’m kinda cooked trying to deal with them for more than 8 minutes.

On land, it’s a different story. Those fish are going down. I imagine they’re just in a giant barrel and they leap out at me three at a time, trying to bite. Stupid fish. They’re in my house. I think in this version of the fight, the only thing stopping me would be exhaustion. I don’t have the best endurance, so I’d be relying on adrenaline to carry me. In this beatdown, I think I could get through 22 fish—so about 7–8 rounds—before punching fish becomes meaningless and I start to get kinda sad about the reality I’m in.

I’m fighting fish in a hypothetical. I imagine myself losing. I’ve come to terms with the fact that I’m not immortal. I can’t win every fight. I’ve lost my survival instincts after years of coddling. I’m no longer at peak fitness. I am human. And I have succumbed to the might of the sea.
