It’s Been A While Since We Have Gotten An Intimate Lana Del Rey Show:
Lana Del Rey has just announced she will be adding 11 new dates to her current Norman F*cking Rockwell Tour. The new Norman F*cking Rockwell Tour dates will begin on November 3 in Albuquerque, NM and extend to November 19 in Nashville, TN.
For us Midwesterners, Del Rey will be gracing us with her presence on November 8 in Chicago, IL @ the Aragon Ballroom, November 10 in Des Moines, IA @ the Community Choice Credit Union Center, and November 11 in Madison, WI @ The Slyvee.
The last time Del Rey went on tour her stops mostly consisted of larger amphitheaters and venues (her Chicago stop was held at the United Center), so it is a rarity for fans to catch the alternative pop star at smaller GA venues such as The Aragon and The Sylvee.
Full tour dates are as followed:
October 10th – Los Angeles, CA @ Hollywood Bowl
October 11th – San Diego, CA @ CalCoast Credit Union Open Air Theatre
November 3rd – Albuquerque, NM @ Kiva Auditorium
November 4th – Denver, CO @ Bellco Theatre
November 6th – Sioux Falls, SD @ The District
November 8th – Chicago, IL @ Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom
November 10th – Des Moines, IA @ Community Choice Credit Union Convention Center Ballroom
November 11th – Madison, WI @ The Sylvee
November 13th – Omaha, NE @ Orpheum Theatre
November 14th – Kansas City, MO @ Uptown Theater
November 16th – Wichita, KS @ The Cotillion
November 17th – Oklahoma City, OK @ The Criterion
November 19th – Nashville, TN @ Municipal Auditorium
Tickets on sale at 10 AM on Friday, October 11.
Lana Del Rey Top 10 Songs of All Time New Tour Dates Announcement
Urban Outfitter’s Exclusive NFR Album Art
Del Rey released her 6th studio album, Norman F*cking Rockwell! (NFR!), this past August, and it has been one of the most defining moments yet in her career.
The 14 track album, co-written and produced by Jack Antonoff, has solidified her title as one of our generations greatest songwriters. NFR! contains some of the most personal and heart-wrenching songs Del Rey has ever released (I personally have had quite a few 3 AM drunk-crying in the back of an Uber to this album moments since its release).
But despite NFR! being so loved and well-received, Del Rey has added only five NFR! tracks to her tour’s setlist (Norman F*cking Rockwell, Bartender, Mariners Apartment Complex, Doin’ Time, and Venice Bitch).
The artist’s choice of setlist tracks has caused an uproar of arguments amongst fans on social media over which Del Rey songs deserve to be on the setlist, and which Del Rey songs deserve praise in general.
Billboard even put on an article ranking their top 10 Del Rey songs:
1.) hope is a dangerous thing for a woman like me to have – but i have it
2.) Video Games 7.) Venice Bitch
3.) Brooklyn Baby 8.) Young and Beautiful
4.) Ride 9.) West Coast
5.) Born to Die 10.) Love
6.) Shades of Cool
As someone who has been a hardcore Lana Del Rey stan since 2011, this top 10 ranking is highly offensive and incorrect! An absolute terrible take!
So in honor of miss Del Rey’s name, her new tour dates, and her transitioning hot girl summer into sad girl autumn, I am here to set the record straight as to which of her tracks are truly supreme:
1.) Video Games (also the best song of the 2010’s)
2.) Happiness is a butterfly
3.) Florida Kilos
4.) Off To The Races
6.) The greatest
9.) Queen of Disaster
10.) Get Free
If anyone would like to debate me on this ranking, please feel free to @ me on Twitter (@phemebot)! I love a good social media fight!
But in all seriousness, please catch LDR on tour this fall. Her shows are a life changing experience and a part of pop culture everyone must experience at some point in their life.
