Performances
My first performance of the day was ADÉLA (3:00PM – 3:45PM, T-Mobile). I’ve just very recently learned about her, but within a few days I have become a fan. The way she carries herself throughout her performances, with such confidence in herself and her music, is inspiring. Also, the mere fact that she performed at a main stage during her first ever Lollapalooza is very telling of the talent she has. One thing I absolutely loved about her performance was the time she took to speak with the crowd. Before performing her hit, “Ain’t In LA,” she gave a motivational speech about how the models and actors and singers are in LA, but how talent exists everywhere and it’s not impossible to follow your dreams and she is living proof. It was a beautiful performance. Also, she performed part of the set while wearing pointe shoes, which was SOOOOO tea.

An hour after ADÉLA, MUNA took the T-Mobile stage (4:45PM – 5:45PM) and absolutely delivered. I saw MUNA open for The Eras Tour back in 2023 and instantly fell in love with their sound. The entire band is so talented, and Katie Gavin is a magnificent vocalist, which she’s proved time and time again. The band has such amazing chemistry, and they are just an incredible live act to see. EVERYONE should check out MUNA if they get the chance!

At 8:45PM, Tate McRae took the stage at T-Mobile for one the final performances of the weekend, and every part of her set was genuinely insane: the outfit changes, the stage design, her live vocals, the visuals, and her dancing. She is the blueprint for a perfect popstar: she is a phenomenal dancer and had a perfect split of dancing and singing on stage. Tate has become known for her dancing, but people often forget that she has such a unique vocal tone and range, which she displayed multiple times throughout the night. To be this multi-talented at such a young age is so impressive and Tate gave one of the best performances of the entire weekend. Also, she literally dipped herself in gold paint at the end of the set. Truly remarkable.

Food & Beverage
For food on Day 4, I had Chicken Shawarma from Medi Chicago (graciously provided by the press lounge) and an order of fries from Pork Chop. The chicken was very juicy and cooked to perfection while the sauce and spices they used provided extra flavor. The Shawarma paired nicely with the fries from Pork Chop as well, which were seasoned perfectly and fresh from the fryer. Together, it was the perfect meal to end the weekend.
Brand Activations
The first activation I checked out today was the Liquid I.V. Flavour House. The entire weekend, the line for this activation was full of hundreds of people, but it was entirely worth the wait. The Flavor House consisted of three different rooms, all decorated to match the three different flavors they were promoting throughout the weekend: Ring Pop Cherry, Rainbow Sherbet, and Raspberry Lemonade. There were free samples, photo ops, free items, and even a DJ!
Another extremely popular activation throughout the weekend was the Ulta Beauty Beat Suite, located right next to Buckingham Fountain. The activation allowed festivalgoers to test different Ulta Beauty hair, skin, and body products, as well as receive hair and makeup touch-ups from Ulta Beauty stylists! Another addition to the activation was free hair tinsel application to add more to the festival looks. At the end, festivalgoers were able to walk away with some free samples and Ulta Beauty festival merch, making it a completely immersive experience that was worth the wait.
The last activation I visited during the weekend was the Hollister Feel Good House. Inside the activation, you could find a live DJ, a charm bar, comfortable seating, photo ops, and a “surprise drop” which gave festivalgoers the chance to win free Hollister merch, or even a free pair of Hollister jeans, which is a complete steal.
All three of the activations I visited on Sunday were incredibly interactive and popular for good reason. I hope to see them all return at next year’s festival!

Closing Thoughts
Lollapalooza 2026 was truly incredible, but the fun doesn't end here. Stay tuned for my final blog recapping the entirety of this year's festival!
