My Commuter Playlist

The soundtrack of my daily commute almost always involves rock music. It makes me feel like I’m in the opening credits of an early 2000s movie, and pairs so well with the early morning and late night bus rides. I really wanted to share the playlist I made last month, since it’s the perfect blend of old favorites and newer artists I’ve had on repeat. It’s about as long as my commute to school, which is a dreadful hour and a half.

I highly recommend these songs and artists if you’re looking for something new! I love listening to Wisp and Deftones around this time of year, since the shoegaze genre reminds me of wintertime. I also recently started listening to Julia Wolf, and am absolutely obsessed with her 2025 album PRESSURE. Sleeping with Sirens, Paramore, and Pierce the Veil are all longtime favorites of mine, especially their older music, which never gets boring even after years of listening to them.
