The End of Grace's Blog

Hello! I just wanted to pop in to say some things really quick. As you may or may not know, I'm graduating in less than a week! It's crazy to think that it's already here. Therefore, this is officially the last post of Grace's Blog! I'm sad because I have loved blogging for UIC Radio and being a part of this organization. I am so thankful that they have accepted me and my silly antics for a year and a half. Now, I move onto greener pastures.
How can you stay in touch with me? Well, there's my Instagram @grace_s_366. I will also continue blogging. I have a Wordpress blog I used to do before Radio, and I plan to revive it. I am definitely not giving up on the blogging grind anytime soon and hope to be writing for big publications or about huge artists one day.
The main purpose for this post is to leave you with a parting gift! I have had this idea for a year and finally manned up enough to do it... a song cover. Was it fun? Totally! Am I a good singer? Debatable. Anyway, I will leave it here, and you can see for yourself. It isn't a good cover by any means. My microphone broke halfway through, and I had to get new one. I did my own backing vocals and laughed the whole time. So it's a silly joke kind of cover, which is my favorite kind.
I sang the song that I never shut up about here, "Red Wine Supernova," by Chappell Roan. I wanted a song that was recent, personal to me, and fun, so this is what I chose. I was too scared to make the video public, so it's just unlisted, but I put the link below. The cover is up on YouTube. Go listen to it! It's my gift to you (embarrassing myself on the Internet again).
Here is the link by itself: https://youtu.be/PVjQ44oyc3c.
To wrap this up, thank you again to UIC Radio for letting me do my blog! I wish all my Radio friends and fellow graduates the best of luck in the future. I'll miss Grace's Blog, but I hope that this isn't the last time you'll hear from me. I'll most likely still be kicking around on the Internet. Anyway, I've been Grace, and I'll see you later! :)
