What I’m Loving in 2025 Spring/Summer Fashion

60s Revival

Capris, circle skirts, boat neck tops, and plenty of polka dots and gingham—everything feels feminine and classic. And the girls are still holding onto their ballet flats and kitten heels, which I love. We’re also still deep in a red accessory era. A red ballet flat paired with a black polka-dot dress, total La Dolce Vita vibes. Along with this, I’m getting major pin-up inspiration, from Sabrina Carpenter’s tour outfits and her recent 2025 Vogue cover, wearing Dolce&Gabbana. Their spring/summer 2025 show was very pin-up inspired with a modern twist.

Drop-Waist Dresses & Peplum Tops

These silhouettes are sneaking back into fashion, bringing early 2000s flashbacks. The peplum tops are freaking out millennials, but they are back with a modern twist and they feel more refined and tailored, especially when not styled with skinny jeans. I’m also noticing that these pieces are being styled for work, making them a fun addition to office outfits.

Americana Boating?

Is Americana summer still in? Absolutely. Even boat shoes are back. Nautical stripes, seashells, and classic Americana influences are sticking around despite the lack of patriotism we feel. I love the timelessness of the look; the crisp whites and navy blues are always classic. Personally, I’d probably lean into it even more if I lived closer to the coast. Either way, it’s a vibe I’m still enjoying.

One-Piece Bathing Suits & Boyshorts

I’m also loving the return of the one-piece bathing suit over the past few years. It has such a classic, timeless vibe. I'm also seeing ruffled swimwear and swim boyshorts making a comeback, giving retro vibes.

Fashion & the Economy

It’s no surprise that workwear is in for this spring and summer. The correlation between hemlines and the economy is fascinating. After starting my big-girl job, I quickly realized the challenge of balancing personal style with office-appropriate attire. While shorter skirts are still in, I’m saving my micro-minis for weekends. I’ve noticed a rise in longer skirts made from breezy, lightweight fabrics. They’re perfect for spring and still totally wearable in the office.

Bohemian Touches

Maybe it’s because of Coachella coming up, but boho fashion is sneaking back in, and I'm loving it. I’m seeing sheer, ruffled blouses, breezy tops, and accessories that just catch the wind in all the right ways. Pastel pinks and earthy tones give major effortless Chloé girl energy, and it's beautiful.

Sheer & Delicate Layers

Sheer, flowy fabrics are having a moment this season. It’s the perfect mix of edgy and romantic, depending on how you style it. Plus, it’s an easy way to stay cool.

Statement Sleeves

Fitting into the boho and sheer trend is statement sleeves. From puff sleeves to bell-shaped cuffs, these sleeves are making a strong return this spring. They add a touch of drama to even the simplest of tops and dresses.

Pastels

Pastels are always a safe bet for spring, but this year, it’s certain shades that are really catching my eye—especially petal pink and buttery yellow. These hues feel softer and more understated than in previous years, almost white but not quite. They’re subtle and delicate, and they give off a dreamy, effortless vibe.

Textured Fabrics

I'm seeing crochet, knits, and delicate embroidery styled in a very feminine way. I love how they bring a tactile element to spring fashion.

Bags: Bigger & More Playful

After years of tiny bags, oversized totes, and slouchy carry-alls are making a comeback. I think many were inspired by the personalized Birkin boom, and it’s fun to see bags becoming a little more playful again. This trend also fits in with the slouchy, boho Chloé-chic vibe that’s been all over the place.

Chunky Jewelry & Bangles

Jewelry is going bold this season. I’m seeing chunky, oversized earrings and statement rings everywhere. Although I often forget to accessorize, I’m loving how others are pulling off bold pieces—especially the bangle trend.

Sneaker Trends

Retro sneakers are everywhere, and I love the narrow shapes and classic Adidas stripes. They add a sporty edge to any outfit. Also, metallics, especially silver sneakers, are also having a moment this spring.

Finally, I have to admit I love the ballet flat sneaker hybrid trend. I think it's very cool, sporty, and chic.

These are just a few trends that I’m personally loving. I’m excited to see more, even if it’s not my personal style, I think fashion is feeling very fun and personal this season.
