Have you ever wondered what it's like to travel back in time?
Recently, Renaissance Faires have exploded in popularity, with one of the most popular ones being about an hour away and not very accessible to people in the city.
This summer, Faire in the Field will take place in the heart of Chicago. With no admission fee and an outdoor environment, this event is perfect for all ages. Whether you've been to many Renaissance Faires before or this is your first time, it seems like this event will be a blast.
It will take place in Clarendon Park, June 13th, from 12:00 - 6:00 PM. The organizers have advertised this event as family-friendly and welcoming to everyone. There will be various performers, vendors, and you are more than welcome to bring your own snack or meal to enjoy picnic style at the event!
While costumes are not required attendees are encouraged to dress up and live their Renaissance dreams!
Whether you dress up as a fairy, elf, princess/prince, knight, sorcerer, pirate, or anything that warms your heart, this event will be a fun experience for all!
Here is their Instagram so you can check out more information before the event!
