Have You Seen This Woman’s Social Media?

Basing on the way she looks, some people on social media are destroying her while others are supporting her.

I kept seeing this face on my newsfeed at least once a day for a few days. People were sharing links and pictures about her but I just kept scrolling. She has very nice pictures but she doesn’t look like the typical supermodel that gets viral on social media. I thought that that was it. Maybe she had a photo shoot and it became viral and now people are using her as an example.

I finally opened a photo of her on the red carpet in hope to find who she was and why was she so popular. I scrolled over the comments just to find a few people tearing her apart. The majority of the comments were related with her looks which I’m not surprised. Is very hard to see people supporting a woman who doesn’t fulfill their expectation of “ideal beauty.” She is the starring character of a film on Netflix named “Roma.”

Someone commented that she was chosen for the part to fulfill the indigenous servant stereotype and not because of her talent or beauty. Now this person has a point, maybe that was the reason why she was chosen for the part. However, I strongly believe that she is talented.

If what they say is true and she never performed before, she is amazing. Spoiler alert: she is abandoned by her partner and she loses her baby. This woman is able to transmit those feeling to the viewer. I don’t know about you but I think that only talented actors can do that. I don’t want to comment on the film because is not my type of movies but for the sake of this story I went and see it.

Whether was it for her looks or not, this woman proved that she is talented. She is definitely not the typical supermodel that we usually see, and I think that this is great. There were also a lot of people that were happy and took pride in having her on screen but some said that this will pass soon. That there are a lot of women that look like her but people are paying attention to her because of this movie. In other words, we pay attention because she is famous. Well, I totally agree but, baby steps. If people are so excited about her then maybe more women that look like her will be cast. Maybe we will see more natural and innocent looking women on screen this year.

Según su aspecto, algunas personas en las redes sociales la están destruyendo, mientras que otras la apoyan.

Seguí viendo esta cara en mis redes sociales al menos una vez al día durante par de días. La gente estaba compartiendo enlaces y fotos sobre ella, pero yo seguía navegando. Tiene muy buenas fotos, pero no se parece a la tipica supermodelo que se vuelve viral en las redes sociales. Pensé que eso era todo. Tal vez ella tuvo una sesión de fotos y se volvió viral y ahora la gente la está utilizando como ejemplo.

Finalmente abrí una foto de ella en la alfombra roja con la esperanza de descubrir quién era y por qué era tan popular. Vi los comentarios solo para encontrar a algunas personas la estaban destrozando. La mayoría de los comentarios estaban relacionados con su apariencia, y no me sorprende. Es muy difícil ver a las personas apoyar a una mujer que no cumple con sus expectativas de “belleza ideal.” Ella es el personaje principal de la película “Roma” en Netflix.

Alguien comentó que solo la eligieron para cumplir con el estereotipo del sirviente indígena y no por su talento o belleza. Esta persona tiene un punto, tal vez esa fue la razón por la que fue elegida para el papel. Sin embargo, creo firmemente que ella es talentosa.

Si lo que dicen es verdad y ella nunca actuó antes, ella es increíble. Alerta de spoiler: es abandonada por su pareja y pierde a su bebé. Esta mujer es capaz de transmitir esos sentimientos al espectador. No tu, pero creo que solo los actores con talento pueden hacer eso. No quiero comentar sobre la película porque no es mi tipo de películas, pero por este articulo fui a verla.

Ya sea por su apariencia o no, esta mujer demostró que tiene talento. Ella definitivamente no es la tipica supermodelo que solemos ver, y creo que esto es genial. También había muchas personas que estaban felices y se enorgullecían de tenerla en la pantalla, pero algunos dijeron que esto pasará pronto. Que hay muchas mujeres que se parecen a ella, pero la gente le está prestando atención a causa de esta película. En otras palabras, prestamos atención porque ella es famosa. Bueno, estoy totalmente de acuerdo, pero, pequeños pasos. Si la gente está tan entusiasmada con ella, tal vez haya más mujeres que se parezcan a ella en la television. Tal vez veremos a mujeres más naturales e inocentes en la pantalla este año.
