Jojo's Bizarre English Dub

Still from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Battle Tendency, the first encounter with the main Pillarmen

I'll admit I'm not the biggest Jojo's fan out there, that would be people who have read the manga (I just started Steel Ball Run so maybe that is me). But since discovering that part 9 has a Bruce Springsteen-inspired character, I've been moving my way through the series, both rewatching my favorite parts and picking up the manga.

Now I first watched Jojo's Bizarre Adventure in Japanese (note: my favorite part is 4, Diamond is Unbreakable, it makes me very sad and happy at the same time), the second time around I did the English dub, and wow I can say they really let them pull out any voice in the first two parts. Bad Italian and British accents plague the full 26 episodes, and it's great. Caesar says "Mama Mia I'll be right there" when asked to answer the phone, like how are you meant to take that seriously? The answer is very simple, you really aren't, it's just part of the fun. While the wildly fake accents go away in Parts 3 onward (probably because the main character is now Japanese instead of British) the dub is still decently funny so I can accept this.

Jojo's Stone Ocean Spoilers

My one thing is with the ending of Stone Ocean and the Universe resetting etc. etc. They should bring back the outlandish voices for Steel Ball Run. Johnny Joestar, the lead of the part is from the American South, Gyro Zeppeli is from Italy, please it would be so incredibly funny trust me.
