My 3 Favorite Artists I’ve Seen Live

1. Dominic Fike

I saw Dominic Fike in August 2023, it was my first concert with just my friends and better yet, he’s my favorite artist. My best friend got me tickets for my birthday and we were in the pit at Huntington Bank Pavilion. He’s such a great performer because he has a different sound live and mixes/edits his songs live as he’s singing them. We went for his “Don’t stare at the sun tour” for his new album Sunburn. My favorite tracks on that album are Frisky, How Much Is Weed?, and Sick.

2. Faye Webster

I’ve seen Faye twice, once at the Riviera Theatre and again at Lollapalooza 2024. Both times were amazing and she is very authentic with delivering a good experience to her audience. The crowd for both shows was very interactive and it felt like a lot of people were true fans and knew even the reprise to Johnny. I liked the lighting of the Riviera Theatre performance more but it was also limited for her Lolla show since her set was during the day time. She was on tour for her album Undressed at the Symphony and my favorite tracks are He Loves Me Yeah!, Thinking About You, and Tttttime.

3. TV Girl

I saw TV Girl at Lollapalooza and it was everything. They are very witty and engaging with the audience. I liked the comments where they would say “This ones a tik tok song” and “This ones for real fans” things like that. Their performance was very immersive from the visuals to the background singers to the different things they would do on stage. It was overall a great time because even if others didn’t know every song everyone was still vibing. They weren’t on tour for a specific album but some of my favorite songs of theirs are Lovers Rock (of course), Louise, and Better in the Dark.
