Romantic Nomad: a short poem

Fat dog sleeping in the window.

Romantic nomad,

You can’t help but take the photo,

Always going place to place but you can stop for simple pleasures,

Hid yourself in cinema,

And stored your life in measures.

Two stray cats walking in the rain,

I’m never scared to ask you to drive me home again.

In another world we were in the same home,

Side by side in cosmic cradles.

But in this one you’re a few years ahead,

So you can teach me across the table.

And in every attempt to get lost,

We’re cursed to know where we came from,

Or maybe it’s a gift,

Holding close to humble starts as this.
