Bad Bunny to Headline Super Bowl Halftime Show

I was so happy to find out that Bad Bunny would be the Halftime performer for the Super Bowl! Bad Bunny is a Puerto Rican rapper, singer, and songwriter, credited with bringing Spanish-language trap and reggaeton music to mainstream global popularity. I love his music!! He has grown significantly from where it all began, from "Mia" in 2018 with Drake to his current work with DtMF. His music has evolved in numerous ways, and he has gained a huge fan base. If some of y'all did not know what Bad Bunny looked like pre-glow-up, I had to insert a photo here because YOU GUYS, he really ate with those changes!

Many fans are happy to see him perform in the US because he had not planned to tour there due to current political concerns, so they are excited to see him perform! Jay Z included, he shared a statement saying, “What Benito has done and continues to do for Puerto Rico is truly inspiring. We are honored to have him on the world’s biggest stage.” This hard launch during LatinX Heritage Month was perfect as well, Bad Bunny says, "This is for my people, my culture and our history." However, unfortunately, many people are unhappy about this; NFL fans have complained that most of his songs are entirely in Spanish, but this is an American sport, so they want predominantly English songs. Then others send hate regarding him performing in America but not doing a tour for his fans. However, in reality, he is performing at one of the biggest events, not for the money, but to represent his culture. This is why we love him.

Although I don't know a word of Spanish, I am excited to see this performance. I know he is going to have a great set that brings culture and music together!!
