Hello Midwest Muse readers, and welcome back! While we still have a bit of summer left, I hope you all had a mystical and magical summer break. Today, I will be sharing with you photos from my own summer. I had the privilege to work as a field technician for an ecological restoration company, so I was all over Illinois and got to explore some pretty awesome places. I also ventured places on my own time and with my dear friends.
Pylons, Utility Poles, and Radio Towers
I cannot write a blog without mentioning my love for the electricity transporters of the Midwest, so, naturally, here are some photos I took of pylons, utility poles, and radio towers over the summer.

Farms, Silos, and Barns
I came across multiple farms during my drives to work and during my trip to Michigan with Lloyd and Mick.

Cemeteries
I visited a LOT of cemeteries this summer. For some reason, I always find myself coming back to them on my adventures. They are quite beautiful, and their history is quite fascinating.

Michigan
While some photos above are already from Michigan, here are some more. It truly was a magical trip.

Nature at Work
Many of the photos I took this summer are from places I went for work. I went all over the Chicagoland area and the surrounding counties including Will County, Kane County, and DuPage County.

Lakefront & Bridge
Here are the last few photos from my summer! All three of these were taken on my camera that I bought at the beginning of the summer.

That's all I have to share folks! Thank you for reading all about my summer, and I hope your summer was just as eventful and fulfilling.
