Spring Awakening

If Winter is for hibernation, then March is for creation. I have finally emerged from under the snow, and as the sun shines, so does my disposition. February is truly a test of patience. Although it is the shortest month, it stretches longer when you wish for Spring to come. I consider March to be a part of Spring, because the ice melts and turns into streams of water that carry you away.
I was not a fan of Spring previously because it served as an in-between phase of Summer and Winter, but now I think Spring is one of the most hopeful seasons. I become alive when I acknowledge that the earth will come alive once again. It is easier to expand in March. Winter is fading, Spring is approaching, and everything is starting to bloom.
March: Creativity
Finding the sunlight ~ Creating your world ~ Listening to nature
Draw Something (even if you are bad at it)
Think of it like you are going to the gym to exercise the visual side of your brain. Doodling is fun!
Learn Something
Choose to learn something you have been wanting to learn about. It does not have to be all at once. Take baby steps. Doing research or getting supplies is a step forward.
Allow Spring In
Even though it is cold in Chicago, it is still Spring. Take advantage of the new energy from the start of the month and carry it through the entire month. Open your windows, bird-watch, or Spring-clean.
Collage (extra)
If you are interested in physical media, cut out pictures from a magazine that speak to you and create your own Spring collage.
Welcome, Spring.
With love,
Kierstyn
