The Beauty of Unusual Compliments

When most people think of compliments, the most common are typically about looks or qualities. They aren't bad compliments, just not my favorite kind.

My favorite kind of compliment is the stupidly intricate and odd.

"You remind me of a cotton candy colored sunset. Pinks and blues creating a beautiful picture together", "You're the scent of lavender personified", "Do you like candy? That's what you're like to me", anything of the strange metaphor kind.

When I tell these things to my friends, after a sweet moment or just out of the blue, it always gets a sweet reaction.

I always recommend thinking outside the box with compliments and sweet messages.
