UIC in NYC – Don’t Be A Jerk

This weekend the UIC Radio Executive Board is heading to the Big Apple for  the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System 74th Annual International Conference.  While there we’ll be presenting a workshop on incorporating diversity and culture into radio programming.  Hopefully, at the end of the conference we’ll being coming home with trophy as well!  We’ve  been named as finalist in five IBS award categories:

1. Best Show Promotion, for The Gentleman Hour with Memo Duarte

2. Best Event Promotion, for the Halloween Haunted Maze & Afterlife Party

3. Best Station ID

4. Best Station Blog

5. Best Streaming/Online Only Station

As these peer reviewed awards will be judged by IBS members, we’re very honored to be chosen as finalists!
