Who Wore It Best- the 2020 N.A.A.C.P. Image Awards Edition

This year at the 2020 N.A.A.C.P. Image Awards, many celebrities and award recipients wore their best set of fabrics. This exciting award show honors those who have excelled at being entrepreneurs, political figures, and social justice advocates. Below are a few of my favorite looks from this event.

The Queen always comes to slay! She looked absolutely stunning in her purple, Givenchy dress as she accepted the “President’s Award.” I adored her ponytail especially, and the matching sandals were the cherry-on-top. Click here to see her acceptance speech.

When does she ever disappoint? The “Entertainer of The Year” recipient looked gorgeous in her custom, Mary Kantrantzou gown. I applaud her make up artists because they don’t miss a beat (literally)!

Tracee Ellis-Ross

Tracee is the most consistent in the fashion world, honey. She looked amazing in her Christopher John Rogers gown, paired with silver stilettos. The vibrant color of this dress is the aspect that truly caught my attention. Go, Tracee!

Angela Bassett

Our good sis Angela arrived in a jaw-dropping, emerald gown and matching clutch. Auntie Angela is known for the elegant looks, and she’s always making statements. We must truly learn from her!

Marsai Martin

The “Black-ish” star arrived in an all-white, feather gown created by Pamela Rolland Frock, and her matching silver, open-toed sandals. I absolutely loved her make-up for this look. Marsai always inspires me with her looks!
