"Whale shows, water rides, and rollercoasters—that was our SeaWorld experience in one line." I've been in Austin for my winter break with the family I have in the U.S. They have a 3-year-old at home. Initially, SeaWorld was to engage him, but we ended up having more fun. We reached there by 1:30 pm, half an hour after the place opened. It was a 2-hour drive for us, stopping once to get food.
We had already bought tickets online, but upon reaching there and seeing the crowd, we purchased the Quick Queue tickets to skip lines at all the rides. We started with the ride 'Journey to Atlantis' which was a water ride. We rushed off to see the Killer Whale show, and it was amazing to see those two whales perform. After the show, we headed off to enjoy all the rides they had, some of which were pretty scary. At 4:45 pm, we took a break from the rides to go see the Beluga Whale Show. The divers, along with the whales and dolphins, were a treat to watch. After finishing the show, we went on some kiddie rides for my nephew. A final ride at 7 p.m., followed by some shopping at the merchandise store, concluded our day at SeaWorld.
Leaving there, we went to our relatives for dinner. After food, drinks, and conversations, we left for home at around 11:30 p.m.
To talk about the day, we had a good time; the rides and shows were great. But a single day is not enough to cover all the shows. We wanted to visit the Penguins, but we missed that due to a lack of time and limited shows per day. We also wished there were more rides for the kids. There was also a lot of walking from one ride to another, one show to another. Be prepared if you have a toddler.
